About Vasota Fort

Vasota Fort is an ancient hill fort located at an altitude of 1,171 meters, near Bamnoli in Satara district, Maharashtra. Nestled deep inside the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, the fort is surrounded by thick forests and dramatic valleys.
Situated on the banks of Shivsagar Lake, Vasota Fort is uniquely surrounded by water on three sides, offering breathtaking views and a true wilderness experience.
